STATEMENT
Artist Statement My work begins with material. Using a restrained palette and repetitive, meditative processes, I focus on the physical act of painting rather than representation. Subtle shifts in density and tone create surfaces that respond to light and architectural space. Painting and poetry function as parallel languages — ways of sustaining presence in a city defined by speed.
